Paris is everything it’s cracked up to be. Just a magical place of great food, cool vibes and monumental architecture at every corner. There’s a reason it’s the world’s No. 1 tourist destination.
No Parisian landmark is more famous or more iconic than the Eiffel Tower.
The best place to view the tower, to take in its grandeur, is from the Trocadero, an elevated open-air plaza just across the river. The plaza is packed with tourists because it affords these great views of the entire tower.
I snapped this photo with an iPhone SE back in April 2018 just as the sun was setting behind me. The sunset lit up the brownish-bronze iron tower with a golden glow that popped against the semi-cloudy blue sky.
